THREE DECADES

The past . . .

A reservoir

Spilling over,

Chronology fractured and splintered

Atomized by vestiges of Time . . .

A vast

Ocean, cresting and crashing . . .

What went before

What followed

Dissolves in panoramic presence . . .

Maneuvering

Across undulating waves

Of accumulated permanence

Through serene calms

And severe storms

I find endless harbors

Of remembrance.
